My younger brother has just left school and he is, at the moment, looking for a job in
Grounds Maintenance. He is interested in
Grounds Maintenance because he has always loved tinkering around in the garden and he also loves being outdoors. We as a family are all agreed that
Grounds Maintenance is the ideal job for my brother and we fervently hope that he will be able to find gainful employment in this area. However, with things as they are at the moment we are beginning to worry. Out of all of his friends who left school at the same time as him, only one of them has managed to secure a job doing exactly what he wants to do. We all know that times are hard with the current financial climate and I am even on the verge of trying to persuade my brother to go to college for a year or two in the hope that things will change for the better in the meantime. If he does this, my reasoning is that he will have more qualifications to offer a prospective employer and he will also be competing in a more favourable job market.
